Starting on September 2, 2016 we started driving to see a lots of sights offered in Alaska. The highlight was a plane ride to see Dinali on a clear day.

This is a view of the lake at our Best Western in Wasilla, AK. If you look closely, you might be able to see the float planes at home across the lake. That is a bird feeder in front of our room and saw birds feeding.
This visitor center shows examples of the wildlife that are found in the Aluetian Islands. There is a great video showing the millions of birds and animal that are seen in the Aluetian Islands.

In 1965 I flew a Cessna 206 to almost the four corners of the States over 4 weeks. Bev and our 6 kids at the time were with me for part of the trip.

The majority of visitors who come to see Dinali miss it. It is covered with clouds much of the year.

The Muldrow Glacier is 34 miles long and is one of the routes sometimes used to clinb Denali. It is considered a dangerous route though.
