On August 25, 2016 we embarked on our big trip to Alaska to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We spent the 1st week on a cruise on Royal Caribbean’ Radiance of the Seas. We stopped each day for sightseeing in four Alaskan ports. The cruise ended in Seward, AK where we took a train trip to Anchorage to rent a car. For ten days, we travelled through many areas of Alaska up to Fairbanks. The highlight was a sight that the majority of visitors do not get to see. We got a beautiful, close up clear view from an airplane of “Denali”. Denali is the tallest mountain in North America at 20,310’.
